All are welcome to sing along with us at our “Big Spring Sing” in the great outdoors, as we celebrate the end of our winter season of Sing Again community choir. Shannon Pennington Larochelle, will be accompanying on Mull Of Kintyre, one of the songs we’ve been practicing harmonies on (Amazing Grace will likely happen too)! We’ll also sing All You Need Is Love, Here Comes The Sun, Shine, and some other uplifting songs, in harmony, such as Lea Morris’ Heart Wide Open, and Woyaya from Ghana.
Donations are appreciated, to pay our special guest on bagpipes; any extra proceeds will be donated to the Unitarian Shelter in Nanaimo, which is at the site of our Nanaimo choir.
We’ll enjoy ginger tea (as is our weekly choir tradition), coffee, and goodies too. Lyrics sheets will be provided.
Limited parking is available at Huddlestone park. If you are up for a short walk, please park at the municipal lot at Lantzville School Road, across Lantzville Road from the park.
Let’s Sing into Spring! All voices are welcome, whether young or old, rusty or shiny. This is community singing, not performance!
