When I was invited to lead the community in singing “Oh Canada” at the Parksville’s Canada Day opening ceremonies in the park, I said “Yes I will - with gusto”! The ceremonies start at noon with our national anthem; get there early, park far away, and walk in!
The Parksville & District Chamber of Commerce hosts a full day of fun on Canada Day, with entertainment, games and food, kicked off by the Shriner's Pancake Breakfast and the 100 plus-entry Canada Day parade, a great lineup of live music, and ending with a spectacular fireworks display!
