April Laurie and I will be leading a community sing for our friends’ Earth Day celebration, 3:30pm at the north end of Columbia Street in South Nanaimo - and they asked us to invite our singing communities! Check out their website for the full day schedule including work party, potluck, community sing, and live world music in the evening at a house concert with multi-instrumentalist and singer Lasso Sanou, visiting from Montreal, who will be performing his traditional songs from his home village of Burkina Faso, West Africa.
